Osmani Trust Welcomes European Delegation For ‘Engage Youth’ Initiative

On Monday 8th September, we were proud to welcome the European delegation to the Osmani Centre as part of a three-day visit to London for the Engage Youth initiative, an exciting action research project focused on strengthening civic and political participation among young people.

Tower Hamlets Island Community Network (THICN) Hosts A Fun-Filled Community Fun Day!

Tower Hamlets Island Community Network (THICN) organised a fun-filled Community Fun Day on Monday, 27th October 25, to bring local people together!

It was an opportunity for 15 THICN volunteers to test their learning in delivering a community event.

They were joined by over 100 children, young people and families who enjoyed a wide range of activities, from boxing and football to arts & crafts, life sciences and more, filling the atmosphere with great energy.

S. Miah, a local young person and volunteer said; “I came to help with the boxing and put my learning to use. It’s for our community so I feel very proud to be here.”

A massive thank-you to everyone who came along and helped make the day a great success!
