Changing Futures is a peer-led violence reduction programme supporting young people at risk of serious violence and anti-social behaviour across Tower Hamlets. The programme empowers young people to become agents of change within their own communities, addressing the root causes of harm through prevention, education, and positive role modelling.
Working across estates and neighbourhoods, Changing Futures delivers detached youth work, one-to-one mentoring, peer leadership development, and mediation support. By creating pathways into training, employment, and personal growth, the programme helps young people make safer choices and build more stable, positive futures.
