My Ends Better
Bethnal Green

Better Bethnal Green (BBG) is a grassroots partnership supporting young people facing violence, exclusion, and disadvantage in Bethnal Green East and West. Funded through the Mayor of London’s MyEnds Programme, BBG brings together local organisations, communities and statutory partners to deliver targeted prevention, early intervention and capacity-building support.

The programme works directly with young people, families, schools, and community groups to reduce serious youth violence, strengthen local networks and create safer, more connected neighbourhoods where young people can thrive.

Reducing

Violence in
Bethnal Green

The BBG consortium, along with partners in the council, police and wider voluntary sector are committed to working in partnership with local stakeholders, organisations, and communities to reduce serious youth violence in the Bethnal Green area.

Our goal is to enhance the safety, wellbeing, and opportunities available to young people, ensuring they have the support they need to grow, thrive and reach their potential.

The BBG programme will support a diverse range of projects and activities that are tailored to the needs and interests of young people in the local area. Through this work, we aim to strengthen the networks and relationships that surround young people—bringing families, schools, community leaders, and service providers together in a shared mission to create a safer, more connected Bethnal Green.

By empowering the wider community to play an active role, we can build a stronger, more resilient environment where all young people feel valued, supported, and safe.ensure they are an integral part of the programme.
