Over 500 residents and visitors came together at Bancroft Estate on Saturday for the BBG/Bancroft Estate Community Fun Day, transforming the estate into a vibrant hub of activity, connection and community spirit.
Children, young people, parents, grandparents and neighbours enjoyed a full programme of free activities including a community BBQ, hot food and refreshments, a football tournament, inflatables, face painting, henna, arts and crafts, portrait illustration and family games. The event created opportunities for families to spend quality time together while celebrating everything that makes the Bancroft community unique.
The day showcased the power of community partnership, bringing together residents, voluntary organisations and public services in a welcoming environment where people could connect, celebrate and engage with one another.
